1978 Dodge Magnum XE GT review from North America
"A very reliable, well-built car from an era of cars that didn't have the best of quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After almost 160 miles of service, replaced the...
Brakes,
"lameburn" computer,
waterpump
and starter.
Not bad for an "American" manufactured car.
The Magnum never failed to start. The Only time it broke down was when the leanburn computer failed, at 120,000 miles.
General comments?
Bought this car new in July 78, and have never looked back.
Currently retired from daily service in 1992, planning on restoring this car in the not too distant future.
Handles as well (or better) as any Camaro or Mustang I've ridden in. And has been more reliable too. This car is becoming an up and coming collectible car.
