"Luxury car with cheap maintain costs"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Paint was worn, because of low quality

front torsion bars were wrongly adjusted by previous owner

starter made funny sound.

General comments?

I thought that the ride is really bad, but it was largely due to adjustments, but car is a uni-body so its not so comfortable as other US-built big luxury sedans.

Parts can be hard to get.

Quite rare model globally.

318 cid engine is underpowered, its recommended to soop up a bit. Easy to get more horsepower, but easiesti solution is to change a 360cid under hood.

Sold it because got a good offer, people notice this car.

Styling is quite young, younger for its age (1979-1983 could be a late 80s).

I bought a 1981 Dodge Mirada in 1983 and had it for several years. It looked like a convertible, but wasn't, which was very unusual then. Everyone always thought I had a new car, and also a convertible, and would ask me why I never put the top down. I loved this car. It was very classy looking, and did look newer than it's age.
