1996 Dodge Neon Sedan review from North America
"Plastic piece of crap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Interior lights do not come on automatically, but when you turn them on manually, they usually work.
Air conditioning breaks right after being fixed.
Plug near fuel line has broken twice, spraying gas all over.
Tie rod had to be replaced.
Tilt steering wheel doesn't really tilt.
Inner door (plastic piece) sags and door won't open.
Door gets caught behind front quarter panel when opening (has been fixed twice).
Speed cluster had to be replaced (speedometer went out)!
Console lights turn on at random for a few seconds.
Engine makes a weird noise (loud, then quiet, then loud, then quiet).
General comments?
This car is a plastic piece of crap.
My 86 Camaro ran better than this, which is amazing since it's ten years newer!
I have spent over 1000 on this car in the last six months alone.
I am in the process of trading this in, because I don't want to throw my money into it anymore!
