2000 Dodge Neon Highline Sedam review from North America
"Very impressed.. reliable and cheap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the clutch at 90k miles.
Replaced the brakes at 60-70k miles (can't remember exactly)
Replaced fan belt, a motor mount, and passenger axle seal at 110k miles.
General comments?
Car is fun to drive - good acceleration.
I've had no major problems with this car, and I've not always treated it so nicely (while I was a broke college student). Changed oil fairly regularly, but not on a strict 3 month / 3,000 mile basis.
I bought this car knowing I would probably only being using it for 4-5 years (during college), and I wish I were having more problems with it so I could justify buying a new car.
I am still getting ~36 mpg (highway), during the Fairbanks winter months I get about 20-25 mpg (city driving).
