1996 Dodge Neon Highline review from North America
"Cute car, 1000 problems, but its mine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wow, I hope you enjoy reading.
Head gasket 36000 miles.
Lighter hasn't worked for 2 years.
Had to get 4 sets of breaks.
Door opens funny.
At about 75000 miles my transmission slips terribly, and is'nt getting any better.
My battery will not stay charged.
My head gasket has just blown again recently.
Little things in the interior break.
Rattling in the engine compartment.
Tail lights and reverse lights burnt out.
Air conditioning has never worked.
Strange idling for about a year if my a/c was on, or if I had the heater set to the defrost setting when it rained. Totally baffled me.
Bumpers are getting loose.
I think that, that's it.
General comments?
I love my car to death, but it's just not built good. That's not my neon's fault. I blame The Chrystler corperation for this.
Its fast, and handels well.
It has great breaks.
Girls think that it looks cute.
Great in the snow, absolutly great!
