1988 Dodge Raider S review from Costa Rica
"Great little tank"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It was my first car so I got jipped a bit from the dealer. I replaces all hoses, bushes, rotors, water pump (should be changed anyway) and oil pump.
General comments?
One of the best cars I have ver had. one reliable liitle tank. this little beast was consumed in mud, salt water, crashed, over heated and never lost a beat. the gasoline costs was high, but it needed it for the torque. I added manual loking hubs... made quite a difference. sucker never gut stuck again in the mud. great 4x4 performance. I live in Costa Rica it proofed to be a nice jungle rumbler. almost no roll over action I cornered it like a race car. sluggish on a quarter mile hit, but made up for it in torque when junlge rumbling.
