"Sharp car, but a lemon"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Fuel pump went at 17,000 miles.

Front rotors warped at 20,000 miles.

Emmisions canister went at 21,500 miles.

Front rotors warped at 31,000 miles.

Inside of door rusting out at 33,000 miles.

Resonator pipe defective at 38,700 miles.

Front rotors warped at 48,000 miles.

Waiting for the badges to start peeling

any day now.

General comments?

Great looking car, but typical Dodge craftsmanship. The brakes on this vehicle are terrible. Even when performing properly, the front calipers creak like an old door. Lube on the calipers only lasts 5 or 6,000 miles.

I have spent ridiculous amounts of money trying to keep up with all the premature repairs needed for this car. I'm quickly falling behind with many more repairs just waiting for me I'm sure.

I was told by many people never to buy a Dodge. Unfortunately, I didn't listen. I cannot wait to sell this car once it's paid off. I will never own another Dodge vehicle again.

Holy cow man. sounds like you did get a lemon. most Stratus' are rock solid automobiles. and have seen many of them go up well past 200,000 miles on just normal maintance.
