Couple of recalls, no big deal.
Rubber trim inside the rear doors likes to fall off.
Replacing the fuel filter requires dropping the fuel tank.
Great car.. no complaints.
Feels like its super-glued to the road on corners.
Quick, great acceleration at freeway speeds.
High speed emergency stops are short and stable, wet or dry.
Incredible visibility for the driver.
Stereo rocks!
You have been lucky. Several of us have had to replace the head gasket and the catalytic converter. Both, especially the head gasket, are known problems with the Stratus, but neither has a recall associated with it.
I have had my Dodge Stratus for 3 years and had nothing but problems, head gasket, oil leak, and the front end. I will never own a dodge product again.
