I purchased a 1996 Dodge Stratus for my wife new, it now has 138,925 miles on it, and we have never had any problems with the car. At 70,000 miles a friend of mine at the dealership replaced timing belt, waterpump, headgasket and struts, all as a preventative measure. I personally have done all 45 oil changes and any other upkeep the car may have needed. We are now selling it only because we have 4 other chrysler products in the yard. P.S. I'm 47 years old and was a Chevrolet man until I was 40. Still have a 1964 Corvette I restored from the ground up, couldn't afford a Hemi.
