I have not been able to find many faults and spend a considerable amount of time looking.
The only thing I've found is the pedal that's fixed to the floor under the left foot half fell off. The plugs that held it in place popped out. I was able to fix myself quickly, but is a reoccurring problem.
I recommend it the car is awesome. I was going to buy a jeep until I drove this car on a whim. Its got everything you could want.
Its fast (I've had mine up to 120 without effort) sporty, comfortable, quick and it turns heads everywhere I go. It also has the room to bring my two kids without crushing their feet.
Some of the surprises I got after buying it were, The trunk is roomy, the sound system is clean\clear and has plenty of base, Its quiet when you roll the windows up and its the first car I've had that got the quoted mileage 29+ MPG.
Some of the things that I'm not happy with.
There is only one cup holder in the center console. Two would have been ideal.
Rain pours into the car when you open the window because there is no frame around the glass and there isn't anything offered by Dodge to correct this.
It has a large turning radius. It takes a little bit to get used to this in parking situations or pulling a U turn.
I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus RT and I love it! The RT is sporty and handles great in good and bad weather. It has great pick up for a 6 cylinder and will actually push you back in your seat. I also think it's great with the manual stick option. You have a lot of room in the front as well as the back. The trunk space is perfect and you would never know it unless you open up the trunk. The interior is just as flashy as the exterior. I believe this is a good car for anyone young or old.
The only problem so far is I had to have the brake pads replaced with only a little over 17,000 miles and I had a loose strut that had to be replaced. Luckily the strut is covered under warranty. The only thing I would like to see changed in the future is where the cup holders are. The first in the front works fine, but the second one in the front is located in arm rest and if you have to use it, you have to keep the arm rest open. Lastly, it is a little hard to see your blind spots if you are not used to the car. The back side windows are small and it makes it a little hard when changing lanes.
I drive a 2003 R/T coupe 5 speed and found the same problem with the rain pouring in because of no window frame. I recently purchased rain guards to put there and they work wonderfully and make the car look a little sportier then it already is. I love this can and can't think of a single complaint. It has almost 50,000 miles on it in just 2 years and there's not a problem.
