1996 Dodge Stratus review from North America
"Dodge should be ashamed of themselves"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket at 60,000 miles.
Rack and pinion went at 60,000 miles.
Digital speedometer kept fading in and out had that replaced at 65,000 miles.
Transmission went at 78,000 miles.
Car has always made steering noises when cold, but as soon as the car warms up niose goes away.
General comments?
I am very glad I paid extra for an extended warranty. I paid $1,280 for the warranty and all my repairs to date rack up to around $4,600.Needless to say my opinion is this car is a big pile of cow dung and I will never buy another dodge in a lifetime.
