1996 Dodge Stratus review from North America
"A great car at a great price!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket began leaking after the standard warranty expired. Luckily, in Canada, there is a semi-secret warranty on head gaskets so it only cost me $50 for the repair.
At times the air conditioning has a fishy smell, but usually goes away after a few minutes.
I wish there was a little more sound-proofing to reduce the road noise.
General comments?
I have been very impressed by the performance and great economy with the 2.4 litre engine.
I am over 6'2" and find the front and back seats to be comfortable.
I just replaced the original tires at 115,000 kilometers, not for lack of tread, but to improve the ride.
