1996 Dodge Stratus review from North America
"It could be better and it could be worse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter went out at 128,000.
Radiator went out at 132,000.
I am not sure who had the car before me
so I am not sure if these things are common to fix at this point, or not.
My drivers side window stopped working 2 months after I bought it.
What surprises me though, is I have never replaced the timing belt and I'm at 132,000 miles. I think it is about that time. over all I've had this car for 2 1/2 years and have put about 500$ in it not including the timing belt I am about to fix. Also, I forgot, the oil started leaking into my spark plugs at 128,000. had to replace the gasket.
General comments?
I would have to say all and all it's an OK car. Everyone tells me how bad it is, but I would think after 132,000 miles things would start needing replaced.
