I have a 96 Eagle Talon with 148,00 miles and it still drives and looks great. I have one problem with the radio it would stop working if I hit a bump and then come back on.

This last week I only have static on all FM stations, but can get AM stations and the CD player still works.

Any idea on what could be the problem?

Whats up I just bought a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD it has 109,977k on it. I paid $300 for it, I basiclly stole it from him. Turns out it had a piston slapping around in the motor. This Tuesday I'm sending my block and head to the machine shop. I'm doing a total rebuild. I've bought a set of forge JE pistons and eagle H-beam rods. I'm building a monster from the bottom up. I'm saving up for a big T3-T4 or 16g turbo. Only bad thing is I haven't even driven it yet.

I hear ya man I just got a 93 tsi awd turbo. picked it up for $450 what was thought to only have a bad starter and a blowen radiator turned out to be that and a complete engine overhaul, but only has cost me 1800 bucks so far. still waiting on mech to finish, but should be a really good running car when done. then I can start racing the big boys.

I have a 95 eagle talon tsi awd. This car was fast when I got it, but for you eagle talon drivers who want speed this is what you should do if you want about 320 horse power. I upgraded the turbo with the 16g big evo 3. That right there made a big difference, but when I got a boost controller and turned the psi up it really made a huge difference. Then I added a full exhaust system, Tri-phase Module, and blow off valve to my stock inner cooler, it really set it off. My car was dyno-d at 322 horse power with 324 pounds of foot torque. my best for 13.6 in the quarter mile at 17 psi. I've raced 2 gsx's and they didn't touch me. these mods were about $2300. So if you got the same of this car, that's how you make it fast.

Looking at a 95 Talon TSi AWD turbo in really good shape, 155k, for 2G. The owner just had the trans rebuilt but he says it has problems shifting (it's an auto). Any ideas out there?

Bought a white 96 Talon TSi AWD with 150,000 on it. I owned a 04 RSX Type S with a gt30r turbo, and I have to say the Talon makes great torque for a stock car. No major problems, just have to say what a great car, handles great, still looks good besides some trim that's faded. Love the AWD, I have to say I'm impressed with this car for being 13 years old and still hanging with new cars or even beating them.
