1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD review from North America

My timing belt slipped at 70000 miles. The timing belt was replaced at 50000 miles by the previous owner.

Crank angle sensor replaced 4 times, by myself and the previous owner.

Transmission will not go into reverse unless I go into 1st gear first.

Clutch pressure drops when I make left hand turns. I have to pick up the clutch pedal with my foot to shift when this happens.

Windows rattle badly.

Replaced the wheel bearing.

Paint chipped off the hood.

Paint fading off the ground effects.

Car cannot be aligned properly.

Brake light, coolant light, and SRS light flash on and off randomly.

Both driver's side and passenger side door do not close properly.

Turbo was replaced under warranty.

Dome light does not work for the driver's side door.

After my timing belt slipped, I had the car towed to Marong Chrysler stealer-ship. They replaced the belt under warranty. They reassembled the belts wrong. The balance shaft belt was 180 degrees out of phase. They could not figure out what the problem was so they sent my car to West Herr Mitsu dealership after 1 and 1/2 months of diagnosing. Mitsu figured out the problem in under an hour. Somehow in transit between dealerships, my taillight was busted. Neither dealership would own up to it.

This car is fast. It responds well to modifications. The all wheel drive gives great handling through turns, expecially coming out of them! Drifting in this car is a lot of fun. There is a wealth of information on the Internet about these cars. Good luck.
