1992 Eagle Talon TSi review from North America

Alternator soon after I purchased it.

Battery not too long after that.

Water pump went in August 2004.

Valve cover gasket numerous times.

Thermostat went with water pump.

2 driver side axles.

1 passenger side axle.

Ball joints.

Ignition coils.

Power Transistor Unit.

Oxygen sensor.

I love this car and will continue to put money into to keep it running as my daily driver and to keep upgrading it for track use. There are currently over $2,000 of upgrades on the car like larger turbo and 3" exhaust, boost controller, suspension, brakes, etc. It currently puts out around 250 wheel horsepower at 18 psi of boost and runs low 14 second times at the track and will hopefully be in the mid 13's this summer when I put on the front mount intercooler and bigger injectors and have it tuned correctly. The only complaint I have is that being FWD it does have traction issues at this power level which greatly hurts its track times. If I had an AWD car with the same mods I would be very happy. I don't even care that much about the under average reliability and gas mileage because the car is so fast and blows away most cars in my area including V8's. Acceleration is outstanding once I hit third gear because I smoke the tires all through first and second gears. Car has help up pretty good since I bought it with a rebuilt engine with just over 1,000 miles on it, so I've had no major problems with it yet. If I ever blow it up I just go with a built bottom end and ported head and throw on a bigger turbo that the internals can hold up to. Overall I love this car and plan to keep it and continue to upgrade it in the next few years!
