1992 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd review from North America
"Real Deal"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had been wanting an Eagle Talon for a few years now and finally bought one. I Bought the car at 226000k. Took the car for a test drive the day before buying it, everything worked fine. I was driving it home the next day after buying it and it wouldn't go into first or second gear. Transmission problem worth $2800. Passenger power window is slow to work. Driver seatbelt won't retract and paint under the Bra is chipped up. A few rattles here and there but what do you expect with 226,000k. Good looking car for a 1992 and for the kilometers. Bought it for $3500 and have put $3000 into just driving it home. If you can do things yourself, then do it, I spent at least half the price just for labour.
General comments?
Amazing car, they look great and handle amazingly. Get the car inspected before purchasing it. It's worth the $100 that might save you $1000's.
