1996 Ferrari F50 F130 review from North America
"Fast, beautiful, emotional"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Airbag was replaced after inflating when I slammed the door - If it happens again I'm selling her.
Brakes frequently lock up at relatively low speeds - Ferrari tells me this is my fault.
Occasional ignition failure - this is not a lada.
General comments?
Like a newborn child, this car is beautiful, but sickly - I love it, but am afraid of taking it out in the open.
To those who think that owning an expensive car is an expression of arrogance, I can only say that it is like owning a beautiful painting or sculpture. I genuinely think that it is a work of art and when I bring it into the Californian sun, despite the heat it makes me shiver.
Finally, for those who doubt the integrity of people who write on this site, just think for a second that as you are now, so once were we. We love cars and we love talking about cars. Why shouldn't we want to engage with other people like us, like you...?
