1999 Fiat Brava ELX review from UK and Ireland
"All I can say is don't ever by a Fiat"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front lights keep blowing (3 x a year)
rear windscreen wiper motor burnt out
indicator will no click off when turning right
seat fabric perished since the first year
air conditioning malfunction 2 days after picking the car up
The gears have started to make an awful clunk noise in second gear
fuel injector system has just packed up
sunroof became misaligned.
Radio changes channel whenever it wants to.
Remote key stopped working although the battery is fine
There was an on going leak from the sunroof which the garage could not repair - they also damages the rear lights in the process.
General comments?
After four and a half years of fair and reasonable treatment, it has cost me a fortune and endless disappointment.
The fuel injection system problem has finally made me give up on this car and buy a mitsubishi.
