1997 Fiat Brava SX review from UK and Ireland

First big mistake was I brought it without the red key (i didn't know this at the time) would cost £500 to reset the cars computers and I still wouldn't have a red key. (this makes it very hard to sell)

The engine cuts out and seems it's not getting enough power. I've had it put on a Fiat machine, but nothing was found to be wrong. A friend said I need a coil pack! once I had to keep my foot on the gas all the way home to stop it from cutting out.

The drivers seat goes forward, but not enough for me to put the clutch all the way down.

Back wiper works, but the washer does not.

I get a tapping noise from the inside of the back of the car no idea where its from.

If I indicate then turn into a sharp corner the indicator makes a loud clicking noise then goes off.

Apparently it's got an alarm, but it's never worked form me.

The petrol cap has broke off again.

Handbrake does not work very good has to be pulled up very high.

The engine problem makes it drink petrol sometimes you can watch the petrol going down.

The passenger window takes ages to go up and down.

However it still has not rust not one spot.

Big spacious car I fitted a bath in with the seats down.

I'm only 18 and considering it's a family car it still a nice design (despite most people my age going for the Bravo I love the Brava)

Power steering is light.

The car does drive good when it's no playing up.
