1996 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting review from UK and Ireland

The paint work chips very easily and dents to the wings and doors are easily acquired by others.

The drivers seat, on the side support has been badly worn through and there is now a hole about 10cm x 5cm across. This is guaranteed to be expensive to repair, but it can't be left as is enlarging after every use.

The steering clunks when going around sharp corners, but this is only minor.

This car is astonishing, it is my first car, but I have tried out my friends cars and mine is by far better in every way (looks, performance, handling, interior comfort etc) than the cars that they drive such as fiesta's (1.1) and nova's.

The original stereo is definitely a drawback-but a Sony headunit, 10 disc changer, 6x9s and an active subwoofer soon sorted that out. although on this point it is difficult to build a nice MDF install in the boot of a Cinq, but it is possible and looks good carpeted in the acoustic black material.

The standard wheels just don't cut it, and I don't want to replace the suspension to lower it, but when I have enough money I would like to add some larger alloys- but I am unsure of the size that would best fit my car and will NOT require any arch work to get them in. If anyone has any ideas or knowledge on this matter please tell me as I have no idea.
