1999 Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo review from Spain
"Still the best coupe (front wheel drive)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Interior trim (carpet, sound proofing) coming unstuck.
Sometimes the boot doesn't open with the key.
Fuse box above clutch opens and drops down due to a bad latch design.
Faulty air conditioning.
Power steering fluid leak.
General comments?
The acceleration, even with 4 people, their luggage, and the air conditioning on, still surprises you. It brakes better than it accelerates. At this price you can't complain, unless you bought an Audi or a Golf.
Running costs are high as you're going to floor it all the time. At 30,000km service, it needed tyre & disc brake changes.
Even though it looks great, no point (no fun) buying a model below the 20v Turbo.
