1998 Fiat Coupe review from UK and Ireland

Ecu unit went last month.

This car is awesome

I've had 6 cars in 5 years before I bought this, and to say I've had my coupe for nearly 3 and a half years, says it all.

Don't get me wrong, it isn't cheap to run or maintain, but believe me, its worth it.

Beware of water getting into your computer unit though, mine went loopy last month, due to water getting into it over a long period of time, the seal wasnt very good, according to my mechanic, but he did sort me out and remap the car for £600.

I have made two modifications, which I know are frowned upon in certain coupe owners circles.

Tinted windows, and oz 17" alloys, for me make the car look fantastic.

I've just had a supersprint exhaust from italy fitted as well, I can highly recomend, £450, but made to measure, and great response.

The fiat coupe 20v turbo hates stop, starting in town centres, get it on the motorway, and the car comes alive, the power is breathtaking.

This is the most expensive car I've had in running costs and parts etc, but I think its like a classy women, you don't get the quality without paying a little bit more.
