Can be a problem to fill up the tank to the top, the fuel pumps cut off at about 3/4 full.
I have now completed over 15000 miles in 8 months and the car has been faultless.
The engine did not loosen up until I had about 6000 miles on the clock and it appears to be getting better and better.
I have averaged over 50mpg and it only drops to 48 when driven hard.
The handling is very good and it is fun to drive.
The radio takes a standard Blaupunkt CD changer which is very easy to fit. I upgraded the speakers and now it sounds excellent.
Twin airbags, central locking, electric windows, good looks, comfy and quiet. All this for only £6300, a bargain.
I would concur with the points raised in this review as I too have an 8v Punto with a good few miles on the clock & it hasn't presented any real problems & it's most endearing quality is it's undoubted good looks.
