2003 Fiat Scudo EL from UK and Ireland - Comments

I have just bought a 1998 "R" reg Scudo, but the van seems to have plenty of pull when first started and you drive away - the problems arise if you accelerate continually; the engine seems to lose power until I ease off on the accelerator for several seconds, then power returns - could this be down to the electric fuel pump not working in the tank, hence not enough fuel getting to the engine?? Or would it not run at all if this were the case??? Any ideas anyone, and things to check??

Forgot to say the model is 1.9EL NON-turbo - does this mean that there wouldn't be a fuel pump in the tank???

Hi, my recently bought Scudo 2.0 diesel has a whistle from the turbo that you can hear on acceleration. I presume it's a leaking pipe, but is there an easy way to locate it??

Has anyone else had problems with the door locks and if so whats the cure, have had a new key cut and the back doors got a intermitant fault and side doors just turn! front doors are OK, any thoughts.
