2001 Fiat Seicento Sporting Abarth review from UK and Ireland
"A budget price funster"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major to date, The Engine management warning light came on briefly about 2 months ago, but after a visit to the dealer to book it in for a check up it went out again!
The Carpet is only very thin, However a set of bespoke carpet mats enhance the look and durability of the drivers foot-well.
General comments?
Although this car was conceived as a city car it is perfectly well suited to the open road as well. Having recently moved from the UK to Ireland (And driven the car all the way) I can confirm that it is as perfectly comfortable on a long haul as it is on a trip to the shops.
The car is fun to drive and will forgive any slight indiscretions on the part of the driver. It does however tend towards understeer when entering roundabouts or tight turns with a little too much speed, this is easily corrected however and never leaves the driver feeling as though they are out of control.
