2000 Fiat Seicento 1.1 Sporting review from UK and Ireland
"Nippy, fun and fairly frugal little car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When we test drove the car it was pulling to the left and the nearside front tyre was worn around the edge, dealer changed both tyres on the front and tracked and balanced.
The rear suspension makes an annoying creaking sound when setting off, or particularly when getting out of the car.
Steering is still a bit heavier steering to the right compared to steering to the left.
General comments?
Very comfortable in the front for it's size, however, back seats are cramped, OK for short journeys.
Nice and quick around town and great fun to drive, easy to park especially as it has power steering!
Equipment isn't bad, electric windows, manual sunroof, airbag, power steering all on such a small car.
Not as good as the Skoda on petrol, it takes £23 to fill it and does around 280 miles to a tank.
Things get a little noisy at anything above 60mph (road and wind noise and a few rattles) but below sixty things are quite mellow.
Not a car your could just cruise along in, but still fun, gets a bit annoying on longer journeys though when you just want to relax.
