Clutch cable snapped.
Brake pads needed changing.
Car playing up with starting, needs bumping a lot, not battery, may be starter motor? (any suggestions welcome).
Tyres wear quickly, and are quite pricey for the size!
Handles well, although quite bad body roll with speed.
Very comfortable, with loads of room in the front, and good on long journeys, for a small car.
Very eye catching as I have the bright yellow one.
Very nippy around town, and holds its own on the motorway.

only two things to go wrong (so far)
as you already said, are the brake pads
and my clutch cable has broken twice in the
past 11 months...

Hi there, I've just bought a second hand 2001 mpi sei which has few bits wrong.
Nankang useless tyres fitted to front
sunroof leaks-get new seal!
Tapping sound is appauling, but gonna put slightly thicker oil in to change that!
Few scratches.

In response to clutch cable problem, bad designing on fiats part : (if you look round net you will find a strengthened clutch cable for the sei and cinq at bout £20 :)
