Please help, fiat tipo 1.4 ie, why have I only got front brakes?rear brakes don't work fully, handbrake fine, but nothing on the pedal, bled them thorough, newish shoes, no leaky pipes or cylinders, tried everything, if you have an answer pls mail me at richardcompton@hotmail.co.uk, much appreciated, urgent as I must get it motd.

I have the same problem with my Tipo after changing the rear shoes, the brake servo seems as though, it is expelling air and the brakes do not go onto 'full bite'. I assume that their maybe something wrong with the way in which the rear brake adjusters are set up. since they should, click through self adjustment as the brake pedal is depressed a few times to rack up the adjustment, and they don't. The adjusters do seem quite a flimsy affair and sensitive to set up, since I don't see how the servo can fail after a simple expedient of just bleeding the brakes!
