1997 Fiat Ulysse EL review from Malaysia
"To much problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Entry/Exit delay lamp switch melted.
Intermittent failure of the Air-conditioning.
High engine oil consumption. Crank shaft re-machined to prevent oil leak at flywheel. Pistons wear-off beyond published specification.
Grinding noise when engaging third and fifth gear at 55k km.
Complete clutch system replaced at 64k km including clutch cables, clutch plate and pressure plate.
Grinding noise when engaging third gear occurred again at 69k km.
General comments?
The car engine was taken off from the chassis for seven times to check the gear-box and engine oil problems within less than ten months duration.
