1994 Ford Aspire review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Too weak to go up a big hill when the car is fully loaded.
General comments?
I would only recommend this car only if the driver doesn't live in an area where there are many steep roads. I rented the Aspire one time and had to drop my friend off his house, where it's up on this big hill. Driving the car towards the hill at 45mph and it quickly decelerates to 15mph when going up hill. Pushing the gas pedal excessively and downshifting to the 2nd gear makes no progress.
Overall assessment: Don't drive this car unless you live in a city that's flat.
