1985 Ford Bronco XLT review from North America
"Now that it's fixed, it's a monster on gas, but strong like no other"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
* Bell housing was damaged due to poor installation by previous owner.
* Carburetor had to be replaced.
* Transfer case major leak.
All in all, the cost to fix all the problems was $2300.
General comments?
The Bronco only cost me $1000. It was the best money I ever spent, including the fixing cost.
It has a 5.8L new Edelbrock carb & manifold, headers, 3 inch lift, 4x4, 3 inch dual pipes, BFG mud terrains radials.
Well the guy that I got it from said it was a crate engine (I don't know what it means, I just know most of the engine is chrome) and it was installed when the truck had 100K miles; now it's on 148K.
To make this story short, the Bronco sounds really good and so far everything works fine, but it likes to be all over the road. Well for those Bronco lovers, you think I got a good truck for that money? Well my email address is isaak_martinez@tmail.com
