1987 Ford Bronco review from North America
"Another FORD piece of crap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1. 3 months after I bought it the battery died costing $100.
2. 4 months after, the gasoline tank sprung a leak and was completely rotted out costing $600.
3. 4 1/2 months after, the 4 wheel drive went out while I was in 4 wheel drive costing $1700.
4. 5 months after, the transmission slipped while I was backing up and would not stop causing me to hit a stairway bannister costing $170 for bannister and $850 for rebuilt tranny.
5. Still 5 months after, tailgate power window would not work and they had to completely disassemble the tailgate to fix costing $1000. GRAND TOTAL $4,420 in the 5 months.
General comments?
For a truck that cost me $5,000 and repairs were $4,420. TOTAL $9,420, not worth considering unless you like to have to ride the bus while it spends 2 months in the shop.
