1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer review from North America
"Though it has its share of problems, the Bronco is possibly the best used full size SUV out there"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This truck is a gas hog. (about 10 mpg on a fresh tune up)
The oil pump was bad when I bought the truck.
The driver's side window motor broke.
Sometimes the rear power window will not go up.
The EGR valve position sensor was bad when I bought it.
The O2 sensor was bad when I bought it.
The A/C does not work.
Though it has a 5.8 it is sluggish when ascending a hill.
Every time I have taken it off-road it has a new noise from a different part for a few days or until I fix it.
I'm beginning to smell coolant from the tailpipe so I suspect it is in need of a head gasket.
General comments?
This truck is very comfortable.
Though sluggish up hill, it still has plenty of power around town.
The rear seat lifts out rather easily (with two people, and can be removed by one person to open up a cavernous cargo area.
It has plenty of ground clearance and tough skid plates.
