1988 Ford Bronco II XLT review from North America
"Great 4X4 for anything!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rebuilt engine
Rebuilt transmission
Replaced all brake parts (lines too)
Replaced fan clutch
Replaced fan pulley (broke during engine removal)
Replaced all U-joints
Replaced rear drive shaft
Replaced exhaust system
Repaired headlight wiring system
New paint job
New tires.
General comments?
Runs like a champ!
After rebuilding almost every part (my idea BTW), this truck is unstoppable.
Although it cost a lot initially to fix and upgrade, it is well worth it and will last another 200000 I'm sure!
I still own the Crown Victoria and use both equally as daily drivers.
