1984 Ford Bronco II review from North America
"I wanted this truck despite the problems I am having"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This Bronco has over heated numerous times.
My engine decided to freeze.
General comments?
Okay, I got an engine from a junk yard. stripped it all down cleaned out the motor and took the block and heads into a machine shop.
Rebuilding Heads was 175bucks
boring 40 over and new cam shaft bearings, polishing the crankshaft, resurfacing the block and heads, and cleaning them out cost about 200 bucks.
I obtained nice EDDIE BAUER seats costed me 100 bucks for the set including the rear.
I am putting the motor back together with misc. parts to include Crank, Bearings, Pistons, Rings and all about 300 bucks.
This motor should run like new. and last me for at least 10 years.
Any sugestions please let me know.
