1997 Ford Contour review from North America
"I would not recommend buying this car used"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
2 transmission rebuilds, 1st trans replaced by dealership. 2 yrs later by another repair shop.
Motor mount replacement
starter replacement
Driver side front window won't go down.
Air conditioning no longer works, neither does the heat and defrost.
Right now the car overheats everytime I drive it, but it hasn't been looked at by a shop so don't know what the problem is with that.
General comments?
I bought this car with a lot of miles on it so I knew I could be in trouble, although it ran great when I first bought it from the original owner. It started with one problem and then it seemed like it all started to go downhill.
