1998 Ford Contour review from North America
"Repair nightmare on wheels"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It had to have a whole new engine.
It had to have a new clutch before 70 k miles.
The seats are a pain to adjust.
It had to have several recall parts replaced.
It had to have a new starter before 100 k miles.
Replacement parts for this car were expensive.
It is one electrical short after another.
General comments?
Would not buy another ford simply because of this car.
It does run smooth, when it runs.
It has been a total lemon.
This car made the towing on my insurance worth it!
