1983 Ford Cortina review from Australia and New Zealand
"A car you can live in, and want to buried in."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only 1 thing went wrong with it the whole time I had it.
Timing belt broke (because these type of engines are non interference e.g. valves cannot touch the pistons, the repair was as simple as a $20NZ $10euro timing belt) -this was due to lack of maintenance on my behalf.
General comments?
Very roomy car - have slept many nights in the back.
Lacks performance - but that's not what this cars about.
Will never let you down.
Cheap to fix - easy to fix, and muck around with.
Don't make the mistake I did and sell it.
