1980 Ford Cortina XL review from Australia and New Zealand
"A fantastic car. For its price range its a must buy."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine got tired after about 10000 k's. It looked like it had been thrashed by the previous owner.
The auto trans lost reverse after 20000.
General comments?
The car is just quick. For a standard car it pulls like there isn't a tomorrow.
The seats are very comfortable, and it is very nice to drive.
The car handles quite well, it beats most other cars its age, but slight body roll is its only downfall.
