1999 Ford Cougar review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car new in April. I returned to the dealer six days later as I found the seat to be uncomfortable for more than a few minutes. The dealer could offer nothing better than to tell me that I would get used to it. I didn't and I have been receiving treatment for my back since. Ford Ireland have not responded to written enquiries and I will loose a fortune to change the car now. Also, the windows needed repair and a piece needed to be cut from the body to stop the exhaust banging! It is an awful car and I would recommend against buying one. I have copies of my correspondence with Ford available for inspection.
