1995 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor review from North America
"Special!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission started jumping up and down from low to high gear causing the car to surge and slip into nuetral , Took it to a trans. shop and they installed a rebuilt trans, It did the same thing, Come to find out it was wires from computer to the trans. Rats or mice had chewed on causing a short. I cannot blame this on the car, That would go to an 1800.00 mouse. I bought the car at auction for 1800.00 in 02,with 104k miles. on it, I have put 80k on it and it still does not use a drop of oil. I can say that this is the best, most dependable I have ever owned. I had new cats.+ flow master exhaust installed which gives it a really nice exhaust tone and really opened up the performance of this car. Its white with tan cloth int. These cars are worth maintaining to the highest level, They are very rewarding and a pleasure to drive. I wouldn't sell it for what book value is on it, Not even close to what I feel its worth, If you get a good one that isn't beat up or abused, You will have a very special car.
