1995 Ford Crown Victoria LX review from North America
"Excellent car. Ford you did a good job when you made this car!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Right after we got the car at 7200 miles, the torque converter went, but was still under warranty and the dealer fixed.
Replaced ball joint at 95000 miles.
ABS light came on, and the brakes would moan really bad. Would not stop at all at 102000 miles. Took it to the garage and they told us what the problem was, and that if we didn't want to fix it, we could just pull the plug, so that's what we did, and as a result had no ABS.
Had to replace the left rear side brakes twice because the caliper stuck.
Oxygen sensor went at 100000 miles.
Other than that, which are all minor issues, nothing has gone wrong at all, and I mean that.
Hit a deer at 129000 miles. Insurance company totaled. Otherwise we would still have it today.
General comments?
This car was excellent. Rode like a dream, handled excellently, had tremendous amounts of power.
Only re-aligned the brakes once the entire time we owned the car.
Excellent; Ford did a good job when they made this car.
