I've blown away Vettes and Z28s at stop lights.
I love the comfortable seats.
The interior is clean and functional.
I would highly recommend this car!
You probably blew the Z-28s and Corvettes away because they weren't racing you - you would have been totally smoked - keep it real - Crown Vics rule.

I own a 86 Vic, and I have been having trouble with the idle. I had to put a new gas tank on (the old one was leaking), cleaned the Idle Control Sensor, changed the gas filter. I've had the screw for the idle looked at. The car runs well, unless it is stopped and idling, or coming to a stop. Also, when the car is in park, with me keeping the idle going, it makes no loss of vacuum sound, when I put it into reverse, or drive, any gear it has a vacuum leak sound that seems to come from under the dashboard. Does anyone know if this is normal, or might it be a vacuum leak that may be associated with the brakes or something else? Any comments will be helpful.
Hey, I just fixed this problem... I know it's something you probably noticed, but it sounds excessively familiar. The pipe that runs from the engine oil cap to the carburetor may have come loose. I've now learned to always check that.
