1985 Ford Crown Victoria Police Package from North America - Comments

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I bought it with 160,000 miles (ex cop car). Just normal wear and tear items: brakes, tune-up, belts, hoses, water pump, etc. Slight oil leak, and carb. was going bad, but the tranny was fine!

General comments?

Great car!!!!! Great handling and acceleration for a big car! Decent gas milage too! Always took a beating and asked for more!

400 horsepower is not possible with the stock 351 windsor used in police cars - it's rating was 180 horses, and the same engine was used from the 1980s thru the 1990s - if your car really does make that kind of power, hats off to you - there's nothing like a fast as hell Vic roaming the streets.

Not true, '85-'86 they had the "roller engine" 351's..wouldn't be surprised if he's telling the truth.

I just bought a 351 Windsor powered cop-car Crown Victoria. I bought it over the phone, haven't even seen it. Any help on identifying if this unit is samas yours.
