"BEAST"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Oil Leak.

Radiator Died.

Alternator died.

Broken motor mount.

Half of the exhaust pipe fell off.

Air doesn't work.

Transmission died.

Went through 5 batteries thanks no no battery holder, and a sharp screw in the compartment.

General comments?

Its my first car and I love it to death.. it was the cheap version with no options at all..

It hauls but on and off the road.. I love it because it's a fun car to go off roading it.. the soft suspension just makes it funner.. I love doing donuts in the grass...She also has great ground clearance I have only gotten her stuck 4 times... 2 in sugar sand 2 in mud... Never going in sand or mud again...

Shes also quick... I have friend that have their little front wheel drive 4 and 6 bangers... blow them all away.. in acceleration, top speed, handling, and braking... for example I've race a 93 cutlass supreme gt v6 convertible 1... his post is on here.. him and his 4 wheel disc anti lock brakes aint got nothing on mine I've also raced 2 diff Pontiac grand ams on was like a 90 gt... the other was like a 98 99 ish... my cars a beast.. she has been airborne plenty of times while off roading.. only broken a motor mount.. also shes fun to do reverse turn arounds in... I can't really do donuts on the road with her... not enough power.. I kinda just have the outside wheel spinning while I do normal circle... I wish my car had more power... and bigger/wider tires..

In response to the other comments.. what are you ppl doing here? You wanna be a hater take it somewhere else. that's what chat rooms are for. At least this guy got good taste in cars. I've owned several Crown Vics/Grand Mq's.. Totalled three of them and came out unharmed. So drive it however you want.. if you DO get in a wreck all that steel is gonna save your ass like it saved mine. And Each time mine still drove me home while the other guys "cars" had to be towed off. Can't go wrong wit thse ;P.

Wider tires is a good idea, made a huge improvement on how my last one rode and handled. The stock wheels/tires are way to skinny for the size of the car. Wanna chck out my last one I got pics @ http://members.cardomain.com/302dude

Flowmaster exhaust is also a definite must for these.. Sounds just beautiful. It will take your driving experience to a whole new level.

To the above writer: do you have any video of you taking your CV off road? Would love to see it ;) should be hilarious.

Hm that's a good idea... I want A video camera!!!

Oh yeah, also my heater coil died, and whenever I get on it, smoke (maybe steam) comes pouring out of the air vents, even when the airs off... gonna disconnect that... then!!!then!!! I'm going to buy a video camera... some how hook it up to my computer... and put video of me having fun off roadin!! some body should really try it... the suspension is ungodly good... sure it may bottom out over some bumps, but 6000 pounds of steel moving at 10 mph... almost nothing can stop it... except for (duh duh duuuuuh) sugar sand and/or mud.. I advise you to never go near either... unless its sugar sand, and your moving at at least 30 mph, and theres only a short 20 ft patch of it.

6000 pounds? More like 3800, still heavy, but not 6000!

My 1987 crown vic is a tough machine too!

I've heard they can off road and know they can handle and accelerate well also. I've hauled a 5000 lb gross weight trailer with mine. Does well.

Yeah, go off-roading with your Crown Vic.

Just make sure you bring your cell phone and the phone number off a friend who owns a Jeep with a winch. You'll need it!
