2003 Ford EcoSport XLS review from Brazil
"If you doesn't know what is a Ford EcoSport, find out more at www.ford.com.br"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car, in July of this year.
Because of the very poor finish, the windshield frame became loose after only two weeks of owning the car.
Nothing serious.
I fixed at home, using Araldite.
The dealer service was good buying the car.
General comments?
Things that I liked:
Engine: The 1.6 engine is powerful and economic.
Gearbox: Has a precise shifts, specially the fourth and fifth gear.
Style: It's a beautiful car.
Safety: Brakes are very good and the car has a great stability, and gets a driver's air-bag as standard equipment.
Interior: Is very roomy and featured with some practical gadgets.
Handling: This car is quite fun to drive on the closed curves, you feel, how the car is "tight".
Things that I didn't like:
The finish: Very poor. There are too many, cheap plastic trims used in the dashboard.
View: Also is very poor, specially the rear view, which is horrible because of the spare fixed at the trunk.
