2001 Ford Escape XLT review from North America
"Great SUV if it didn't have the intermittent problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The vehicle jerks when the transmission shifts intermittently.
The brake pedal feels like there are rocks in it when applying the brakes, intermittently.
The rear wiper didn't work, replaced the motor and it worked for one day, then quit again.
It's very noisy when going over bumps, no matter how small they are. It seems much looser than when I bought it.
General comments?
The car is very fast and really gets it.
But I hate the intermittent problems.
