2007 Ford Escape Hybrid 4WD review from North America
"Incredible fuel efficiency, OK SUV"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Squeak in back window at 5000km, repaired by dealer.
Can't change CD's under passenger seat easily.
No outside temperature gauge.
Stones from front wheels chip body flare near rear wheels.
No mechanical issues in first 40,000km.
General comments?
Great fuel, average 35-40 mpg in mixed city driving.
High comfortable seats and view.
Lots of interior space for back seat, fold down storage.
Cheapy features like CD player and gauges not up to par.
NAV system visually awkward and occasionally wrong.
4WD works very well in snow, high clearance.
Buzzy and light on highways and accelerating.
