2001 Ford Escape LX review from North America
"Fine for a small family or older couple"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far, so good.
General comments?
I was amazed the first time I stomped the gas pedal in the V6 Escape. Those 200 horses showed up quickly!
Was quite comfortable on a 500 mile trip and I'm a big guy.
The only real complaint I have is that the gas mileage seems to be getting worse. Averaged a lowly 15.8 mpg at first, but is now in the 14 mpg range.
Goes great through the snow.
